SACRAMENT OF COMMUNION
As Catholics, we know that the Holy Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith: it is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Communion requires two years of preparation, either through our parish CCD classes or another (proof is needed), Older children will be placed in an age-appropriate class; but still must attend TWO YEARS before receiving First Holy Communion.
COMMUNION FOR THE HOMEBOUND
Currently, during the yellow phase, communion must be given through the front door – parishioner on one side, open door for communion, Pastor stays on porch. No Eucharistic ministers during the yellow phase.
Holy Communion is taken to the homebound the first Friday of each month by Fr. Johnson and two weekends a month (2nd and 4th Sundays) by the Eucharistic Ministers. Please call the Rectory to make arrangements.
