COVID-19 Updates & Precautions
Governor Tom Wolf mandated a “Stay at Home” ordinance for Lehigh County until June 4th at which time we entered the Yellow phase where there will be slightly more social interaction. At this time, as of June 1st, Bishop Schlert announced the restoration of public Masses. On June 29th, we have entered the Green phase and have a bit more pews opening up, as well as the allowance of lighting votive candles.
We should all pray for an end to the coronavirus, pray for the discovery of a vaccine, and pray that we all may be patient during this time of social isolation. It is for our own health and safety and for those we love.
Please remember to wear a mask to Church, this is mandatory. After each service we have a Clean Team that will wipe down pews and disinfect all common surfaces such as door handles, bathroom sink, etc.
Mass attendance remains voluntary. Those who do not feel safe, or who have compromising health conditions, should not participate at this time. The dispensation from the Mass obligation will remain in place for the time being.
Live streaming Masses will continue.
- In all phases of reopening, the Diocese of Allentown will remain in alignment with local, state, and federal public health and safety guidelines. Parishioners will be required to wear masks, use hand sanitizer, and maintain social distancing of six feet.
- Our website and Facebook page will be updated with information to help you.
